We answer the calls of the U.S. Office and Management and Budget recognizing Middle Eastern and North Africans (MENASA) as a unique separate demographic category to be reflected in the upcoming U.S 2030 census AND the FDA recent Diversity Action Plan guidance. MENASA Group is actively involved in advocacy at the local and national levels.
MENASA Group represents progress, collaboration, and opportunity. We’re building a future where healthcare is more accessible, research is more inclusive, and communities are empowered to take part in shaping the medical field. The MENASA Group (Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian) is a U.S.-based nonprofit movement advancing global health equity and inclusion in clinical research.
Our work is grounded in two major U.S. policy milestones — the U.S. Congress OMB Directive 15, recognizing MENA as a distinct demographic category, and the U.S. FDA Diversity Action Plan (DAP), which mandates representation of underrepresented populations in all clinical trials.
Through our online global platform with more than 2.5 million healthcare professionals, we onboard MENASA physicians worldwide for free to become certified Principal Investigators (PIs) and connect them directly with sponsors and research opportunities.
We also provide an unmatched clinical trial business development tool that proactively matches certified PIs with sponsors and global studies — driving collaboration and innovation across borders- Yes globally!
Our ultimate goal is to establish drug safety profiles for MENASA populations, a long-overdue effort essential for improving global health outcomes and advancing personalized medicine for over 1.5 billion people.
