Clinical trials in the U.S. consistently underrepresent Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian (MENASA) populations, compromising both scientific validity and regulatory compliance. We propose developing a robust, agentic AI-powered platform that leverages Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial claims data to identify eligible patients with unprecedented precision. Using advanced geospatial heat mapping, provider taxonomy, and demographic analytics, this platform will enable rapid, targeted recruitment-especially for hard-to-reach MENASA communities. Our approach surpasses traditional EMR-scrubbing by integrating community validation, bias auditing, and natural language processing (NLP) of clinical records, ensuring both accuracy and ethical integrity.
Underrepresentation in Clinical Trials: MENASA populations are historically underrepresented in clinical trials, leading to treatments that may not be optimized for their specific needs.
Limited Networking Opportunities: MENASA healthcare providers often lack access to robust professional networks, limiting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Barriers to Research Participation: MENASA physicians face challenges in accessing and participating in clinical research opportunities.
Communication and Trust Gaps: Cultural and linguistic differences create barriers to effective communication and trust between healthcare providers, researchers, and MENASA patients.
